Storm & Lightning Damage Repair
Downed service lines, bent masts, lightning-struck panels and tree damage repaired fast — with the utility coordination and inspection handled for you.
West Michigan storms take out electrical services in predictable ways: a falling limb pulls the service drop and bends the mast, wind rips the weatherhead loose, or a lightning strike cooks the panel and everything sensitive downstream. The utility restores their line — but everything from the weatherhead to your panel is the homeowner's side, and that's the part we rebuild.
We repair or replace damaged masts, weatherheads, meter bases and service cable, coordinate the disconnect and reconnect with your utility, and meet the inspector so power is restored as fast as the process allows. After a lightning strike we go further than the visible damage: a full inspection of the panel, grounding system and affected circuits, because strike current finds paths that don't show scorch marks. Insurance claims get clear photos and a written scope you can submit directly.

Frequently asked questions
- The power company said they can't reconnect until the mast is fixed. Why?
- Everything from the point of attachment down — mast, weatherhead, meter base — belongs to the homeowner, and utilities won't energize damaged equipment. We repair it, arrange inspection where required, and the utility reconnects.
- Lightning hit nearby and now some outlets don't work. Is the rest of the house okay?
- Not necessarily — strike energy damages connections and device internals invisibly. We test the panel, grounding and affected circuits so you're not discovering problems one failure at a time.
- Will you work with my insurance company?
- We document the damage with photos and provide a written repair scope and estimate suitable for claims. Many storm-damage repairs are covered; your adjuster makes that call, and our paperwork makes it easy.
